I don't know if this is the right place to post this.
I just got kicked out from a top program because of poor grades. I have $100K in loans and a conditional job offer (after graduation in the spring). My appeal was denied even though I took full responsibility for slacking off and not pulling them up on time. Please don't tell me I should have just worked harder, I know this.
I can't get my head around this. Have you ever heard of classmates not making it all the way? How did they cope?
Hi
Very sorry to hear about that. I have heard some students not being able to cope up with the rigors of business school.
However, you must not be disheartened. There's always a way out. Try to convince the B-school to refund some amount of the fees so that you can pay back some of the loan. If this doesn't work talk to the bank, if they can extend the tenure of the loan so that you can take up some job and pay off the loan slowly. Also, ask for financial help from your friends, family and relatives so that you have some time to pay off the loan.
All the best.
