Good to hear, I've been thinking of buying one. Figure I'll need it for grad school anyway.

Many b-schools offer free Vault and Wetfeet subscriptions for students, so I would check with your school before buying a membership.

I've heard the same thing that schools offer free access to both these services.

I have purchased in the past, but usually the 3 month membership. Once I have to job I haven't visited once.

Same with applying to school. They try to auto-renew and charge your credit card so make sure to cancel if you don't want it 'forever' !

I am planning to subscribe to Vault's gold membership. Has anyone used vault ? Is it useful ?

Wondering the same thing. Is the gold membership really what its hyped up to be? I am interested in reading up on their tips for business school admissions. Any ideas?

Are the industry guides available for download any help? Do they offer any valuable insight that may be hard to obtain on my own?

I think the student surveys were interesting to me when I first read them because I hadn't spent anytime on GmatClub or BW forums. Now that I've seen all the resources on these forums, I don't think the student surverys offer much more.

But I think Vault's industry and job information is excellent. The salary surveys are really interesting, and I would say all that info is worth the Gold membership fee.
