Has anyone heard of any other business schools with good placements, that are a bit nearer to Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates?
I was really keen on Kellogg business school. But it's like 1 hour drive from my place! Can't move because my hubby works in Hoffman Estates..

The fact that you have a top notch program about an hour away makes you much better off than most. You'll almost always have to sacrifice something to go to B School, and an hour drive doesn't sound that bad. I'd recommend still targeting Kellogg and either renting a cheap apartment near Evanston and just drive back to your hubby on the weekends (or him visiting you), or deal with the drive. Kellogg will be yards better than any program that's closer to Schaumburg...you'll get amazing placements out of Kellogg and very questionable at the closer schools. It's probably not the answer you're looking for, but it's the reality of the situation. Many couples either have to live separated or give up their work and find something new...you're situation makes you much better off.

Why not split the distance and move half way between. An hour is definitely doable, I know some people who drive that or more. Usually they try to set their schedule so they have classes on just a few days a week.
