Hi All
As and when I come across any questions during my MBA School Info/GMAT/App process, I think of it " what if we had this info in a consolidated form/thread in this forum... will it be helpful...? " and if the answer is yes, then I convince my lazy self to start a new topic
So what is this topic about?
Well, this is not about when is best time for you to visit in terms of before apps or after apps etc., My intention is to come up with a chart for May 2011 - Nov 2011, ALL the dates when admission office will be open and will be conducting official student visits that includes class visit, campus tour, lunch with students etc in different combinations. So that will make it easier for us to look at the charts and book the travels only for those dates
If u like my idea and have done some research on schools, lets put together that info here in this thread

I like your idea and I hate to be a grinch, but I think this is unnecessary. These events happen very frequently and an applicant should just go to the school's website and choose one that works with his or her schedule. They have to go to said website anyway to RSVP for a visit. A better use of energy along this same idea is to have a file like the clearadmitwiki for interviews only for class reviews so people who cannot make it to the classes or visit can get a flavor for what it was like.

Between May and November, I'd suggest visiting in either October or November. The most important part of the visit is trying to experience what it's like to be a student at that school. If you visit during the summer, there won't be any students there. If you visit in September, the first year MBA's will still be figuring it out for themselves, so they won't be able to share their perspective with you.
It doesn't really matter when you visit, as long as you visit during the school year. You might consider visiting during March or April, because the students will not only be settled into the academics, but they can also share their experience with recruiting.
