Hi everyone,
I’m considering applying to the full-time PGDM at Welingkar Institute of Management (Mumbai) and wanted to get some honest feedback from the community.
From what I’ve researched, Welingkar offers a 2-year AICTE-approved PGDM with a strong focus on industry exposure, live projects, and specializations like Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, and E-Business. The curriculum seems quite practical compared to theory-heavy programs.
However, the fees are around Rs. 12–14L, which feels a bit on the higher side for a Tier-2 B-school. Placements look decent on paper (average ~Rs. 12 LPA), but I’ve also read that the batch size is quite large, which could impact individual opportunities and ROI.
I wanted to understand, how is Welingkar actually perceived in the market? How consistent are the placements, and does the ROI justify the cost?
Would really appreciate insights from current students, alumni, or anyone who has evaluated this option.
Thanks in advance!
