Hey folks. I'd appreciate any and all feedback - pos or neg - here.
So I have two years in the Peace Corps under my belt and another two working for a global health non-profit managing USAID projects. I'm looking at B-schools now, primarily for two reasons - first, I want to manage development programs, and MBAs are rare in my field, but the skills would sure be handy. Second, I've long dreamed of starting my own renewable energy business (or non-profit?), and I imagine an MBA would not only be a handy skill set there, but also useful for attracting startup money.
Besides, having a decent-name MBA provides a good deal of income security, which is handy too.
Stats: 680 GMAT (re-taking) and 3.04 GPA from a top 20 U.S. And I'm a white dude.
- Yale is an obvious choice for me, but it's Yale, so it's a big reach.
- Duke's non-profit resources are supposed to be strong too
- Stanford has a solid reputation on this "save the world" thing, but it's also a BIG stretch
Besides these three, which schools out there have strong programs in this area? I'm applying to a number of other schools with more general management and entrepreneurial programs, planning to cross-apply those later in my career.

Check out Kellogg, they have a major (SEEK) dedicated to this area. Do some research and find the net impact school profiles that will give you a lot of solid information.
