All schools provide the same specializations give and take. Some colleges are strong on one aspect vs the other. BTW grad schools hate if you mention that your reason for attending is because of their high ranking in the field.

Im sure others would give their own perspective but my 2c

Oh tht is some news ..tht college hate their rankings in particular fields..
however according to my research ...babson college on its official website prouds itself to be the no.1 in entrpreneurship in USA...any comments on that??
btw, from ur msg i guess colleges like being aces in all fields..so do they really want us to view them as a b-school as a whole (and not in particular fields)???? is this universally true......others kindly comment..

Columbia should be definitely up there for finance, potentially even for consulting (though not traditionally known for it) since McKinsey recruited the highest number of all recruiters last time I checked.

INSEAD for Consulting as well, unless you are restricting to US schools, but you've got LBS in there.
