Hi all,
I am really just starting my research into B Schools and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions into what schools I should look in to, and can realistically get accepted to.
I am looking for b schools with strong programs in renewable / alternative energy, energy efficiency, and social entrepreneurship. I am interested in VC / marketing / entrepreneurship in this field.
My vitals are: 23 yrs old, 650 GMAT (V44, Q 35, AWA 6), 3.82 GPA from private university in Washington D.C.
Work Experience: 2 years experience in a federal agency working as special assistant to a Presidential appointee. Currently an energy and environment fellow for a U.S. Senator.
Currently looking into:
Safe: UMD Smith, George Washington, Loyola Chicago, Case Western Reserve - Weatherhead
Reach for the stars schools: Ohio - Fisher, Michigan - Ross, Chicago - Booth, NYU - Stern, UC Berkeley - Haas
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!!

just a suggestion - look at Virginia Darden as well. Your GPA is good enough for any school, but your GMAT is going to be the hurdle. Had your GMAT breakdown been reversed, it might not have been too much of a problem. But as of right now, a Q35 will require you to probably have some sort of a good quant background and quant work experience. Then it's just about demonstrating that in your essays, letters, and interviews.

I would put Texas and Rice on your research list!
Texas places 10% of its graduates into the Energy industry. Just doing a brief search, I was able to find this: https://johncbutler.com/EMIC/Description.html, and I'm sure there's a lot more to energy at Texas.
Rice places a stunning 30% of its graduates into the Energy industry. You can actually get an MBA concentration in Energy there.
Here is my list of high scorers for Energy placement (BusinessWeek), and some field rankings (USNews):
30% Rice (Jones) - 21st in Entrepreneurship
18% UC Davis
15% Florida (Hough) - 18th in Marketing
14% Michigan State (Broad)
11% Washington (Foster) - 16th in Entrepreneurship
11% Notre Dame (Mendoza)
10% Texas (McCombs) - 9th in Entrepreneurship, 12th in Marketing
