I am an Indian working as a Software Engineer in EMC2 a Fortune 500 company.

GMAT Score: 720
Work Experience: 3.4 years
GPA: 3.7 (Anna University, Computer Science)
Sports: Member of the college team in Chess & Shuttle
Activities: An active member of a NGO that deals with women welfare. Other activities Trekking, Playing billiards.
As a s/w engineer I was involved in few management related activities such as organizing a team of 7 for a specific product release, proposing few process improvements to enhance the knowledge base, suggesting key changes to improve the productivity to save as much as 100 man hours a year.
I am planning to apply for the top tier colleges like
Stanford,Harvard,Wharton,LBS,IE,ISB.
I would like to know about my chances and some suggestions to get through these colleges.

You have a shot, but you have to make your application stand out. Truth is, people with your profiles are dime a dozen in top b-schools. You have to make your case and present your application to the best of your ability, and of course, the other part of the application process is really just dumb luck, which you have no control over.
