I am having difficulty making this decision.

1. Keep my job and keep working full time and go to Kelley Direct (Kelley's Distance MBA)
2. Quit my job and go to Rotman (Uni of Toronto) [ which I prefer over Schulich ] fulltime.

Leaning less towards this one:
3. Go to Rotman part time.


If I go to Rotman full time. I lose the freedom of having cash to go out and do anything I want whenever and party etc.
I do not know what the MBA life is like at Rotman.

If I go to Kelley Direct, I keep my job and also get an MBA from a top ranked US school with no "online" stigma attached.
But then my MBA will take a little longer.


Any suggestions... feedback?

you haven't really supplied anything that could help us make that choice. Are you well established within a company and just need an MBA as a credential to move to the next level? Are you someone with only minor work experience who wants the MBA to do a lot of the work? Why are these your only two/three options?

I have quite a bit of experience, but not in management. It is in technology.
I live in Toronto, so ideally for me if I were to quit my job I'd like to go to University of Toronto rather than moving to another city or country.
I do like having money coming in so I have decided to keep my job and pursue a Kelley Distance MBA as I plan on working in US after the MBA.

Based on my observation - a sample of 3 colleagues and friends, distance learning candidates have a real hard time landing jobs. If you want to land a job within the U.S. you're better off pursing the York-Kellogg executive MBA program, which adds top tier brand name to your resume, typically this program requires a little more work experience, but the Kellogg brand name on your resume can open doors anywhere in the US.
