Q1)The primary purpose of this passage is to:
A)Compare hunting techniques of the Great White -Wrong- Here in the passage only one technique is discussed. So comparing techniques is wrong[/b]
B)Compare contrasting views for the explanation of a behavior -Correct- Here Passage provides contrasting views of a technique used by Sharks.
C)Inform the reader about a subject - Wrong
D)Explain one way that the Great White hunts for food - Wrong- it is essence/purpose of only second para. Not for the whole passage.Trap
E)Analyze the cause of a certain behavior -Wrong- Passage doesn't discuss about cause of a certain behavior.

I hope it might be helpful to others.

Thank you

in my opinion para 3 promotes spy hopping as a means to better visibility(new theory)...than previously stated as a means to smell the predator better.
