could u explain why the second "among" is necessary?
specifically, where is the ambiguity in option A to justify a repetition of the 2nd "among"....
(i) TCancer more common in Caucasian men than (it is common in) other men
(ii) Tcancer more common in Caucasian men than other men are (common in) Caucasian men (doesn't seem to make logical sense-thus, no need for second "among"; i think so)
