Option 1 is correct.
Option 2 will say and matter and energy.(Not correct even it uses among)
Option 3 Among is wrong.
Option 4 Between A and B is right idioms.
Option 5 Uses among for two items.(Not Correct)

Rule for usage of between/among: Use between when you have two entites at hand. Use Among when there are more than 2 entites at hand.

The correct idiom is Between X AND Y.

Like so - Pam and Mike own property worth millions between them.

There was a strong disagreement among the committee members. - More than two committee members.

The sentence considers space and time as one group of two, and matter and energy as the other group of two.

Keeping the above points in mind, all options except option A are ruled out.

Veritas Prep OFFICIAL EXPLANATION
