A. wrong because here "the one causing is ambiguous". Moreover, is also providing - makes no sense with condition.
B. wrong because also providing leaves a sentence as fragment. " that 'collapsed-arch' condition of the human's feet also providing extra stability"
C. wrong because condition should be followed by provides not provide.
D. Chosen one.
E. wrong because condition should be followed by provides "collapsed-arch' condition also of the human's feet provide"

Q. The recent clinical trials have revealed that 'collapsed-arch' condition of the human's feet, the same as the one causing the feet to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs, is also providing extra stability that reduces the likelihood of turning or spraining the ankle in a fall.

A. feet, the same as the one causing the foot to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower leg, is also providing
B. feet - of the same condition that causes the feet to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs - also providing
C. feet are the same as those that cause the feet to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs, and also provide
D. feet - the same condition that causes the feet to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs - also provides
E. feet, which is the same as the one that causes the feet to over pronate to put strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs, also provide

A. is providing -- awkward
B. also providing -- no main verb
C. are -- should be is
D. The answer
E. Provides

This question basically tests your knowledge in Modifier, to verb, SV agreement and tenses. I got answer right in around 2.10 mins. I feel this question is of 600-700 level not sub 600 level

A. feet, the same as the one causing the foot to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower leg, is also providing
B. feet - of the same condition that causes the feet to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs - also providing

D. feet - the same condition that causes the feet to over pronate, putting strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs - also provides
E. feet, which is the same as the one that causes the feet to over pronate to put strain on muscles, joints, and tendons of the lower legs, also provide

C & E can be eliminated on S-V agreement as the "Condition" is Singular. So it should be paired with "is" or "provides"

A: "is also providing" is incorrect since its not a continues task but a fact that has been established. So Simple Present is required
B: "Also providing" makes the sentence a Run-On as it goes "Trials revealed that 'collapsed-arch' condition ...... also providing .....". So no working verb for "Condition".

Therefor D is the answer IMO.
