Unlike X, Y is correct idiomatic usage, hence correct answer must be (A)

Guys

I understand that A is a clear pick that's because of the correct usage of Unlike with a noun. However, Are all the other options wrong solely for being wordy and awkward?

Abhishek009 you mentioned that the correct usage of idiom Unlike is: Unlike X, Y. Could we also say that Like follows the same rule and that Like is also an idiom? such as Like X, Y? Now on to more generalization can all the single syllable comparison makers besides "as" follow an idiomatic usage.
