In E, such like....clearly wrong.
In B, gases drive, such as......wrong
In C, Gases drive, like....wrong
Now what I see here.
Green house gases, such/like those emitted by tailpipes.
In "those emitted by tailpipes", those refers to gases and sentence shows similarity between green house gases and gases emitted by tailpipes, not an example of greenhouse gases. Therefore, such as is out. Option D is wrong here.
A is correct.
Please let me know if I am wrong with explanation.
