The point of the question is that in spite of its old-fashioned ways, Max-Sharp did well in the 21st century. The intrigue is past tense used for the company's performance in the currently running the 21st century. As of today, is the company no more operating?
In addition, does normally a GMAT SC question include two sentences separated by a period?
A. One of the most traditional companies of the 21st century, Max-Sharp's Operations included -- modification problem.
B. The operations of Max-Sharp, one of the most traditional companies of the 21st century, included---- the best of the choices
C. Max-Sharp was one of the most traditional companies of the 21st century including in its operations the--No sensible meaning can be deduced. It is not clear why 'including' is modifying the 21st century
D. Included in one of the most traditional companies of the 21st century Max-Sharp's operations is --using present tense is for distributing and the past tense 'did' for the performance are pointless.

it's not clear how the sentence should be corrected. (A) is phrased as though Max-Sharp's Operations is the name of the company (and not just Max-Sharp). (B) is correct: clear and unambiguous. (C) and (D) are both awkwardly phrased. (D) has similar issues to (A), and incorrectly uses “is” in the singular. (E) is incorrect, due to the fact that it leads one to believe that “Max-Sharp" is one of “the traditional company's operations”.
