It is not an obvious question for me. Actually I do not know the answer here.
My thinking process:
1. Would like option F. Such as prospering telecomminications industry, but there is no such thing here
2. Do not realize why to use "which is prospering", when the more appropriate version is "prospering industry" - for me B, E are out.
3. In C "that of" duplicates the "industry", thus it is simply redundant. C is out.
4. Between A and D - I really do not understand why do we have "in" A - seems not right. So A is out.
So D for me.
as is the prospering telecommunications industry
This one does not sound very good for me, but it is the closest to "such as"

A
Such.. .like in (B) is unidiomatic. That of in (C) is illogical: that can stand only for industry, and it doesn't make sense to talk about the industry of an industry. Is in (D) doesn't have an object. In (E), the use of both as and like is redundant. Also, (B) and (E) both use the phrase which is prospering, when the single word prospering will do. The most concise choice, (A), is correct.
