LIKE: Like is used for comparisions . only nouns and not even phrases.
a)Like should be onlly followed by noun /pronoun.
Ex-Like that of Samsung Phones, the battery life of Apple phones is very long.

b)Like cannot be followed by a clause.
Like a dog does, a cat follows its owners everywhere. ( WRONG)
Like a dog, a cat follows its owners everywhere.( Correct)

c)Like cannot be used for examples.
The modern world is coping with numerous issues like Corona Virus, Global Warming & Terrorism ( Wrong)
The modern world is coping with numerous issues such as Corona Virus, Global Warming & Terrorism ( Correct)

d)Like compares two logical entities.

AS: Usage of AS in
1. Compaisions ( clauses)
2.Show two simultaneous actions
3. Reasoning
4. Role /Function

Despite the popular reputations of O’Keeffe and Dove, or lack thereof, Dove emerges like the far more daring and more imaginative artist of the two.

Here "AS" is required because Dove plays the role of daring and imaginative of the two.

So A & C out
In D. X More than Y , here X -->>Dove & Y ----> missing
In E The correct Idiom is More than not More as
A) like the far more
B) as the far more( correct)
C) like the far more than
D) as the far more than
E) as the far more as

A : emerges like is incorrect as like is used for comparison. There is no comparison here
B: emerges as is the correct idiom. Also, more daring and more imaginative adheres to parallelism
C:emerges like is wrong. More than is also incorrect here since there is no comparison
D: far more than incorrect
E: as the far more as..is also incorrect.
Hence B is the right answer
