This answer choice is grammatically incorrect. The first two items in the list of the sentence are verbs (enchanted, frustrated), but the last item is a noun (resolve).
What helps you identify this question as a Parallelism question as well as identify the mistake is the following Stop Sign:
- A list of 3 items or more, separated by commas and and/or before the last item.
In a list of 3 or more items, all the items should be the same part of speech (all nouns, all verbs, or all adjectives).
B. with theater-goers, who are by turns enchanted by her child-like charm, frustrated by her docility, and by her impressive resolve
Incorrect.
This answer choice repeats the Parallelism mistake in the original question and is also illogical. The first two items in the list of the sentence are verbs (enchanted, frustrated), but the last item is a noun (resolve). This also makes the sentence illogical because the verb frustrated now also refers to her impressive resolve, due to the parallelism -- but this does not make sense. Something impressive in Nora is not a cause for the audience's frustration.
In addition, this answer choice is wordy. The relative pronoun who and the verb are are not strictly necessary for the sentence to be grammatically correct.

Incorrect.
While this answer choice appears to correct the Parallelism mistake in the original question by changing the three items in the list into Verb+ing forms (enchanting, frustrating, impressing), it creates a new grammatical mistake. The Verb+ing form impressing should not be used as an adjective replacement if an adjective already exists (impressive).
- Correct: The president's speech was impressive.
Incorrect: The president's speech was impressing.
D. to theater-goers, by turns enchanted by her charm, frustrated with her docility and impressed by her resolve
Incorrect.
This answer choice is illogical and changes the meaning of the original sentence. By changing the preposition in to to, the corrected sentence creates the illogical phrase generate...reactions to theater goers. Theater-goers (who watch the play) are those who react to Nora's character, therefore the character generates reaction in them. Nothing in the content and logic of the sentence suggest that anyone could be reacting to theater-goers.
E. in theater-goers, by turns enchanted by her child-like charm, frustrated with her docility, and impressed by her resolve
This answer choice corrects the Parallelism mistake in the original question by changing the adjective+noun impressive resolve to a V3 form impressed (by her resolve).
