Understanding "any European country" vs "any other European Country" :
When you say, Uk is more than any European countries, you are making an illogical claim. Since UK is part of Europe, it cannot be "more" than itself.
Therefore, in order to exclude UK from the all the countries in Europe, you need to have "any other European countries mentioned" in the options.
