It is weird as question because generally the evaluate the argument in OG use always the word at the beginning of the answer "weather"..
C D and E are out od scope
B is not related to the argument ...or irrelevant.
A is the best but is weird as question...the source ?''
You 're right . There was something weird with 'A' that's the reason I wanted to validate it here . I picked it from some online resource for practice . I should refrain from picking random questions like that .
Anyhow , thanks for giving it a shot & highlighting a valuable point .
Here's the explanation-
Analysis: Greater consumption of ground water = lower water level. Rainwater harvesting reduces ground water consumption. CONCLUSION: Rainwater harvesting will curb the decrease in ground water level.
Prediction: To strengthen the argument, the right answer must show that unforeseen circumstances will not prevent the rainwater-harvesting systems from curbing the decrease in water level.
A. Correct. This ensures that harvesting rainwater does not further decrease the ground water level.
B. This information is out of scope.
C. The comparison of rainwater-harvesting systems with recycling systems is irrelevant to the argument.
D. The financial side of the plan is irrelevant to the argument.
E. This was already stated in the argument.
