The argument talks about the robots in Gansett Company, which have been installed on the assembly line.
The amount of time taken to put together its wooden coat racks has improved since this change has taken
place. In order to increase the speed at which the racks are made, the company might need to replace the
remaining human workers. However, this step could prove disastrous for the local economy.
Of the available options, we need an option which will allow Gansett Company to retain most of its workers
without losing money. Option E(The company will implement a line of artisanal wooden coat racks made
and signed by its human workers) is one of the ways in which we are able to save the local economy while
addressing the concerns caused due to the slowness of the company's human workers.

IMO E.
A. irrelevant to the assembly line being automated & retaining most of it's workers.
B. More efficient ( than robots ) models would definitely not help the human cause.
C. Employing workers in other industries helps the workers but that is besides the point our main focus here is to retain workers in the same company as per the Q
D. Informing workers of a prospective loss of employment would just lead to unemployed informed workers.. does not strengthen the Q.
E. "ARTISANAL" implies something that cannot be automated as it is art related... this is also a "new line" hence the existing economical robots are preserved as well
