Unfortunately, vitamin D is found in just a handful of foods like egg yolk and cod liver oil. People can get this vitamin naturally through exposure to the sun. It is ironic that although we have ample sunshine in our country, studies show Indians tend to be deficient in vitamin D. And this is more so in the case of urban Indians, because they spend more day time indoors than rural folk.
Which of the following best completes the argument?
(a) So playing an outdoor game, regularly can enable urban Indians to get adequate vitamin D. (b) So urban Indians need supplements of vitamin D. (c) So urban Indians are likely to suffer from diseases caused by vitamin D deficiency. (d) So urban Indians must make it a habit to stay outdoors in the sun for about 30 minutes just after sunrise or before sunset. (e) So urban Indians need to go to villages and spend as much time as possible in the sun along with the rural folk

Hi Experts, Since the passage does not talk about the amount of time one should spend outdoors to overcome vitamin D deficiency, I rejected answer choice D. Answer choice C expresses a probability of suffering from diseases caused by deficiency of Vitamin D, which is given in the passage. Have I missed anything while choosing C and rejecting D? Please help.
