MIMIC THE ARGUMENT
This is a tricky quesiton. Most "mimic the argument questions" usually are.
The stimulus asks a "QUESTION" to "SOMEONE WHO HAS CONTROL/INFLUENCE OVER AN EVENT" about "WHEN" an event will happen inside their "DOMAIN OF CONTROL /INFLUENCE".
(A) “Mr. Congressman, when is the Congress finally going to realize that defense spending is out of hand?” ------ CORRECT. A question is being asked to someone who has control/influence about WHEN an event will occur inside their domain of influence.
(B) “Madam Chairperson, do you anticipate the committee will take luncheon recess?” ----- This choice does not ask WHEN
(C) “Dr. Greentree, what do you expect to be the impact of the Governor’s proposals on the economically disadvantaged counties of our state?” ------- Question is not asked to person who has control/influence over the event
