Many behavioral studies of the psychological capacities of animals reveal hardly any difference between rats and chimpanzees. The most reasonable explanation for such results is that the studies themselves are inadequate.

studies of psychology capacities says there is hardly any diff between rats and chimpanzes.
after that author directly conclude the reason for it that studies must be inadequate.
A- highly developed changes the meaning.A is out
B- no mention of biased experiment - Out of scope.- B is out.
C- we dont know this for sure and it doesn't affect our arguement
D- this directly hits our arguement - we can try refuting this assumption and we can see it shatters the argument. keep D
E- we are not searching for better option . E is out too
D is winner.

In this we have to find the premise that will lead us to the conclusion that the studies are inadequate.
If we look at the option A,B and E can be directly eliminated.
We are left with 2 option that can troublesome.
(C) there is no way to measure objectively the psychological capacities of animals
(D) there is considerable difference between the psychological capacities of rats and those of chimpanzees
Can anyone please explain why answer can't be "C".
As opposite of "D" is indirectly stated in the first line I.e. in studies.
So don't we have look for something else. Please explain how can we eliminate this answe choice.
