(A) The question stem doesn't mention anything about this

(B) The question stem limits its scope to ET only, not the whole mass media

(C) The question stem doesn't mention anything about this, ie. query, authenticity. Thus, such conclusion cannot be drawn.

(D) The question stem doesn't mention anything about this.

(E) The question stem logically links with the conclusion.

FINAL ANSWER IS (E)

(A) It is hard to uphold the principles of journalistic integrity in a place where every reporting assignment comes with a "brief" outlining the story's conclusion. - way too generic. Besides, even though ET is seen as a propaganda machine, it could still be true that some news reports from ET (even if it provides a favorable stance for the government) could actually still be 100% true and uphold the principles of journalistic integrity.
(B) All mass media firms have a pervasive bias in their interpretation and presentation of the news. - a bit too extreme. Moreover, we cannot make such a broad conclusion based on one single instance (ET in this case)
(C) Any bias in the ET is hard to discern as it is presented in the form of journalistic query and would have a level of authenticity to it.
- It could still be true that bias from ET is flat out ''easily spotted'' and can wreck havoc among the Prenians.
(D) ET is neither the first nor the only outlet that exists to serve the state rather than its citizens. - I first thought that (D) was the right answer. But upon closer inspection, I realized that (D) is talking about the State of Prenia. Since the passage does not have any information that can support (D) as a conclusion, we must discard (D).
(E) ET is expected to be the mouthpiece for the ruling political class and has to conform its reporting to the political agenda of Prenia. - The information provided to us in the passage supports (E) as a conclusion. Therefore, (E) is the right answer choice.

See we have to find conclusion for above paragraph. Keep that in mind.

A- That’s nowhere near the conclsion. It’s kind of going off topic. We don’t talk about how easy or hard it is to uphold the principles.

B- Firstly that’s not what the para is going towards, it’s centred around ET. Secondly we don’t know about ‘all’.

C- Firstly this is mentioned in the passage but it’s a detail not around what the para is centred. Secondly maybe there are some biases that are easy to discern while others are hard. ‘Any’ means all are hard.

D- Firstly, not what we’re gearing towards. We’re not saying ET vs other outlets. We’re just talking about ET.

E- Fits. That’s what para is about. It’s about uncovering what ET is actually about. (ruling political class is the government. Political agenda of Prenia- ET is Prenia's "propaganda bullhorn.”)
