Between B and C,

B is wrong since the author mentions sales of T-shirts and OTHER memorabilia as an indicator of popularity rather than solely memorabilia.

C is correct because the author assumes the other concert being compared to is popular without providing context or background for the same.

Thanks

This one was tricky, and I was ultimately between B and C:

(B) takes for granted that income from sales of memorabilia is the sole indicator of popular appeal
(C) takes for granted that the comparable series possess popular appeal

How do we know that the other "comparable" concert that has "similar sales" is even popular in the first place? Since we don't have evidence of this claim, the argument's premise is weak. Therefore, the answer is C.

B is not correct because the argument is not sound even if "popular appeal" is defined by other factors (not just sales from memorabilia)
