I believe there is a similar question to this somewhere. That question goes something like this: the Italy government taxes the electronic devices so high that its people need to buy those electronic devices in a nearby country.

Why increase in online shopping leads to decrease in physical shopping. It is possible that online shopping keeps on increasing while physical shopping remains same.
