SuperQuick is one of the top convenience store franchises in the nation. The directors of the franchise attribute a major part of their success to their cash-only policy that speeds the check-out process by eliminating the need for clerks to perform time consuming credit checks. SuperQuick recently announced its intention to acquire Diamond Drycleaners and to apply their trademark rapid payment processes in all Diamond Dry-cleaning stores.
In deciding to implement SuperQuick check-out procedures in Diamond Dry-cleaning stores, the directors assume that:
(A) Dry-cleaning check-out times can not be decreased without implementing a cash-only policy.
(B) A Diamond Dry-cleaning clerk's most time-consuming task is performing customer credit checks.
(C) Dry-cleaning stores do not need to accept payments on credit in order to acquire and retain customers.
(D) Super-quick can generate additional growth by offering dry-cleaning services in their convenience stores.
(E) Diamond Dry-cleaning uses cash-accounting methods similar to those in place at Super-quick.

(C) in my opinion.
As per the SuperQuick directors, Diamond Drycleaners (DD) do not need to have a credit system in place and they want to replace it with an efficient and better cash-only system. So, they are assuming that this method would be a success at DD. But what if DD needs a credit system in place for some other reason? Or what if the majority of consumer prefers a credit system? What if the drycleaning payments are so low that the credit system is a necessity to keep things running smooth.
With this in mind, only option (C) matches the criteria.

D) Sq generates more wealth.irrelevant.
E)DD payment system is same as Sq. Weakens the argument.
A) generally says that checkout times cannot be decreased. We don't know what payment systems does DD use.
B)correctly addresses the issue that credit checks is the most time consuming task, thus Sq acquiring it will definitely help DD to reduce the checkout times.
