When essential workers like nurses transport staff or paramedics go on strike, it is not only dangerous but ineffective. Theses strikes put people's lives at risk, inconveniencing or endangering hundreds over the course of the strike. This is hardly likely to gain popular support for the cause of workers and hence serve no real purpose.
Which one of the following best expresses the flaw in the above reasoning?
A. There are many different kinds of industrial action that do not involve strikes. B. Strikes are designed to force employers to negotiate, regardless of popular support C.
