It is often argued that the traditional newspaper has little relevance in today’s world as people no longer prefer to consume the news in a linear fashion; they prefer to pick and choose which stories they want to read, a choice that they can exercise freely on the online news portals. While reading news in online portals we click on the news which we want to read, but while reading a traditional newspaper, knowingly or unknowingly we skim through the articles which are usually of no or less interest to us.
