fusarium is transmitted through fungal impurities in mineral used to grow plants.
Fusarium affect hydroponically grown strawberry.
hydroponically grown tomatoes are also grown using the same mineral solution but rarely fusarium rarely observed in them.
this fact doesnt indicate they are immune to fungi that cause fusarium.

we need to find the reason for this.

A even if there are others, it doesnt matter and doesnt give us the reason the believe in conclusion mentioned above. so out.
B if thats the case then it make sense that despite using the same minerals they are not affected by fusarium. so this clearly gives the reason to drive the conclusion.
C this is out of context.
D this goes in other direction.
E it rather weakens the hypothesis here. so reject.

Which of the following most logically completes the argument?

Fusarium is a fungal infection that frequently affects hydroponically grown strawberry bushes and is transmitted through fungal impurities in the mineral solutions used to grow the plants. Even though hydroponically grown tomato plants are often grown using the same type of mineral solution, fusarium is only rarely observed in tomato plants. This fact, however, does not indicate that most strains of tomato plants are immune to the fungi that cause fusarium, since___________________.

A. strawberry bushes and tomato plants are not the only types of hydroponic crops that are typically grown using the type of mineral solution liable to be contaminated with the fungi that cause fusarium
B. strawberry bushes and tomato plants typically take more than a year to show symptoms of fusarium, and hydroponically grown tomato plants, unlike strawberry bushes, are generally viable for only one harvest season and must be replanted every year.
C. resistance to some pathogens such as the fungi that cause fusarium can be acquired through exposure to a highly similar infectious pathogen
D. Fusarium has been found in hydroponic crops that have not been grown using the type of mineral solution liable to be contaminated with the fungi that can cause the disease
E. the type of mineral solution liable to be infected with the fungi that cause fusarium generally constitutes a larger portion of the hydroponics used to grow tomato plants than of strawberry bushes
