Tim scored 10 points more than Joe --> T=J+10 --> J=T-10;
Tim scored 10 half as many points as Ken --> T=K/2 --> K=2T;
The three players scored a combined total of 50 points --> T+J+K=T+(T-10)+2T=50 --> 4T-10=50 --T=15.
Answer: B.

thanks for the help this clears up where i was getting stuck.
I knew
t = j+10
t=1/2k
i tried substituting t with j+10 then had the below equation
j+10 + j = 50-k
2j +10 = 50-k
2j=40-k
j=20-k
but when i tried to plug this back, i got the wrong answer.
Your solution makes more sense, and is faster, thanks
