if x^2=2y^3 and 2y=4
X^2= 2(2)^3 [y=2]
X^2=2*8
X^2=16
X=4
Equation:- x^2+y
=(4)^2+2
=16+2
=18

so , y = 4/2 =2.


\(x^2 = 2 y^3\)

\(x^2 = 2* 2^3\)
\(x^2 = 16\)

Then \(x^2 +y \) = 16 + 2 = 18

• \(x^2\) = 2\(y^3\)
• 2y = 4

To find
• The value of \(x^2\) + y

Approach and Working out
• 2y = 4
    o y = 2
    o So, 2\(y^3\) = 2(8) = 16

• Now, \( x^2\) = 2\(y^3\) = 16
    o Thus, \(x^2\) = 16

Finally, \(x^2\) + y = 16 + 2 = 18

Correct Answer: Option E

Given that \(x² = 2y³\) and 2y = 4 and we need to find the value of \(x² + y\)

2y = 4
=> y = \(\frac{4}{2}\) = 2

\(x² = 2y³\) = 2 * \(2^3\) = 2 * 8 = 16

=> \(x² + y\) = 16 + 2 = 18

So, Answer will be E
