If 2x = 3y = 10, then 12xy = ?

(A) 1,200
(B) 200
(C) 120
(D) 40
(E) 20

it's given that 2x=3y=10. It means that the value of both 2x and 3y is 10.

we are asked to find out the value of 12xy = 3*2*2*x*y= 3y*2x*2=10*10*2=200

Thus the best answer is B.

2x = 10, 3y = 10
Therefore 12xy = 12*(5)*(10/3) = 200,
