I don't know if it's a good method or not, but I transformed everything into fractions
8/100 * 33/10 = 264/1000
and 15/1000 * 4/10000 = 60/10000000
now divide:
264 * 10000000 / 60 * 1000
simplify 264 with 6 and get 44, remove 4 zeroe's from the top and get 44,000.

This method seems to worked for me. Initially tried to simply and that didn't work. How do I determine when is a good or bad time to simply?

(8*10^-2)(33*10^-1)/(15*10^-3)(4*10^-4)
multiply:
264*10^-3/60^*10^-7
4.4*10^4 = 44,000

\(\frac{(0.08)(3.3)}{(0.015)(0.02)^2} = \frac{(8)(33)*10^{-3}}{(15)(4)*10^{-7}} = \frac{(66)}{(15)*10^{-4}} =\frac{4.4}{10^{-4}} = 44,000\)(Option D)

\(\frac{(0.08)(3.3)}{(0.015)(0.02)^2}\)
=\(\frac{(8)(330)}{(0.015)(2)(2)}\)
=\(\frac{(2)(330)(1000)}{(15)}\)
=\((2)(22)(1000)\)
= 44000

a=0.08*3.3=8*3.3*10^-2
b=0.015*0.02*0.02=6*10^-6

a/b=8*3.3*10^4 / 6

Don’t really need to calculate the exact number 3*8/6 =4

it’s around 4*10^4 ..only one choice is close enough to be the ans
