If 6 of the 10 members of a certain class are boys, what is the probability that two members, selected at random without replacement are both boys.

I am confused when to consider with/without replacement.

We are told that we have a case without replacement.

\(P=\frac{C^2_6}{C^2_{10}}=\frac{1}{3}\) or \(P=\frac{6}{10}*\frac{5}{9}=\frac{1}{3}\)

Typo. \(P=\frac{C^6_2}{C^{10}_{2}}\)

No. \(C^2_6\), \(C^6_2\), and 6C2 are the same: choosing 2 out of 6. Can we choose 6 out of 2???
