Sum of number of all cars for 6 months = 55
Total months=6
So avg number of cars sold =55/6
=5.5

IMO E , kindly confirm answer.

OFFICIAL SOLUTION:

(E) According to the graph above, monthly sales were 2, 3, 5, 6, 9 and 8. The sum of these numbers is 33. Dividing by 6 to get the average sales per month, we get 33/6, or 11/2, which is 5.5.

The correct answer is choice (E).
