To answer this question, you might find it easiest to "map out" the numbers by writing them all down. There are also logic/Algebra approaches to do this work, but when you're not sure what to do, taking the simplest approach is probably best.
We're told that in a series of consecutive ODD numbers, 27 is the 8th smallest.....
Let's figure out the 7 numbers in this series that are SMALLER....
25, 23, 21, 19, 17
15, 13
Next, we're told that 25 is the 10th largest.....
Let's figure out the 9 numbers in this series that are BIGGER....
27, 29, 31, 33, 35
37, 39, 41, 43
The question asks for the RANGE of the series.
We now know that 13 is the smallest number and 43 is the largest number. The range is 43-13 = 30

Imp:All are consecutive odd numbers.
27 is the 8th smallest ,there are 7 numbers smaller then 27 ,smallest number :27-14=13
25 is the 10th largest ,so there are 9 numbers larger then 25, largest number:25+18=43
Range:43-13=30
