if equation is ax^2+bx+c
and will have two roots of equation.
Sum of roots is -b/a, product of roots is c/a
the equation is x^2-x+1=0.
a=1,b=-1 and c=1.
Two roots of the equation is a and b.
sum of roots is -b/a=1/1=1.
a+b=1
product of roots= c/a=1/1=1.
ab=1
square sum of roots equation = a^2+b^2+2ab=1
=a^2+b^2+2=1
a^2+b^2=-1.
so Option C is correct.
