When x is divided by y, the quotient is z with remainder r

Theory: Dividend = Divisor*Quotient + Remainder

x -> Dividend
y -> Divisor
z -> Quotient
r -> Remainder

=> x = y*z + r = yz + r
=> r = x - yz

So, Answer will be D
