may i knw whats the dofference between must and could!!! more importantly, i expand the set to the right side to get 6, similarly it s expandable to left side as well to get -6

As per question if x is there then x+3 must also be there

So if -3 is there then
-3,0,3,6,9 ...
All these numbers are there

-6 can't say as we don't know about x-3 case ,it could be or could not be

We are given two statements.
If x is in the set, x+3 is in the set as well
- 3 is in the set
and we want to see if -6, 0 , and 6 must be in the set

Since we are given -3 is in the set, we know 0 is also in the set by plugging in -3 for x into x+3. Again, plug 0 into x, 0+3. We know that 3 is also in the set. Repeating this, we know that -3,0,3,6,9,12……
are also in the set. Since the values only increase, and we started with -3, -6 cannot be in the set. Therefore the answer is 0 and 6
