Male students who participated in sports = 15
Male students who participated in baseball = 5

So, Total Female students = Total Male students + 5

Or, Total Female students = 24 + 5

5/8 is the total number of Male students participating in sports even.

Since, the denominator is even the number of male students should be even. If we subtract 5 from each option we get Option A (65-5), C (29 - 5) and E (53 - 5) as even number.

Only option C and E give whole number when divided by \(\frac{5}{8}\) and then by \(\frac{1}{3}\).

minimum possible number of female students at SHK University = 29.

I chose this option because \(\frac{1}{3}\) * (\(\frac{5}{8}\) * 24) = 5.
[Note: The number of players in a Volleyball team = 6]. :-D

Easiest and fastest way is to find the Least Common Multiple of 8 and 3. Which is 24.
