NNP: Person not reading News Paper
T: Person watched the news on Television
NT: Person did not watched the news on television
The answer to the question is option E.

When dealing with overlapping sets, the most efficient way to solve for any of the values is to use the Group equation whereby Total = Group 1 + Group 2 - Both + Neither. In this case, since percents are used, substitute 100 for the total and use the provided percentages for the groups to solve. Therefore, 100 = 65 + 40 - 25 + Neither. Solving the equation yields Neither = 20% or choice E.
