Instead of trying to create equations, we'll just draw an axes, a common approach with Coordinate Geometry.
This is an Alternative approach.
Drawing our graph (see below) we can SEE that the Y-intercept must be positive.
Only II fits.
(B) is our answer.

Good approach david,
Another approach.
Equation of line is: y = mx +c
Slope, m is positive
x-intercept is negative, hence -c/m <0
hence c is positive or y-intercept is positive.
Answer is Positive y intercept. Option B
