As we're asked to the calculate the probability of something happening 'at least x times' we'll calculate its complement instead.
This is a Precise approach.

The required event is getting at least one 50, so its complement is getting zero 50s.
That is, on each of the 3 die rolls, we have 5 out of the total 6 options available
Then the probability of getting zero 50s is (5/6)^3 = 125/216
And the probability of getting at least one 50 is 1 - 125/216 = 91/216.

(A) is our answer.

1) probability to get no 50 in three tosses: (5/6)^3 = 125/216
2) to get at least one 50 in three tosses: 1-(125/216) = 91/216

We can create the equation:

P(50 at least once) = 1 - P(50 no times)

P(50 no times) = 5/6 x 5/6 x 5/6 = 125/216

P(50 at least once) = 1 - 125/216 = 91/216

The faster way of calculating will be getting a no on each of the three tries.
(5/6)^3 = 5/6 * 5/6 * 5/6
1 - (5/6)^3 = 91/216

Another way will be to calculate all of the possible outcomes that will satisfy seeing a 50 at least 1
YNN = 1/6 * 5/6 *5/6 * 3 = 75/216. -> Multiply by 3 because there are 3 ways to get a yes
YYN = 1/6 * 1/6 * 5/6 *3 = 15/216- > Multiply by 3 because there are 3 ways to get a no
YYY = 1/6* 1/6* 1/6 = 1/216

75/216 + 15/216 + 1/216 = 91/216

Probability of at least one of 50 = 1-(probability of not 50)

=1- (5/6*5/6*5/6)
=1-(125/216)

=91/216

AT LEAST 1 = 1-NONE

= 1 - (5/6 * 5/6 * 5/6)
= 1 - 125/216
= 91/216
