- • A certain vitamin pill has 400 milligrams of magnesium
• 1 gram = 1000 milligrams
To find:
- • The amount (gram) of magnesium present in a bottle of 500 vitamin pills
Approach and Working:
- • If 1 vitamin pill gas 400 milligrams of magnesium, then 500 vitamin pills will have 400 * 500 = 200000 milligrams = 200000/1000 grams of magnesium = 200 grams of magnesium
Hence, the correct answer is option B.

For 500 Pills = 500*400 = 200000 milligrams
Question asks in terms of grams 1 gram = 1,000 milligrams
200000/1000= 200
