To find:  
 • The value of 40% of k

Approach and Working:   
 • 20% of 3k =  (\frac{20}{100}) * 3k = \frac{3k}{5} = 6 
 o Thus,  k = 5 * \frac{6}{3} = 10  
• 40% of k =  (\frac{40}{100}) * k = (\frac{2}{5}) * 10 = 4
