Question : What is the probability of turning up a heads and a 6?
When the question stem mentions "and" then it implies multiplication.
Given :
The probability is 1/2 that a coin will turn up heads
The probability is 1/6 that a cube will turn up any particular number.
Therefore,
1/2 x 1/6 = 1/12
